The INShowjumpers team has returned home from an unforgettable two-week international tour at CSI Šamorín, Slovakia, celebrating one of the most successful international tours to date for our students. Our team travelled with 18 horses and an ambitious group of riders, all united by one goal: to improve, gain experience, and perform at the highest level. The results exceeded every expectation, with personal bests, international victories, and career-defining milestones achieved throughout the fortnight.

Holly Cox Reaches New Heights

The standout performance of the tour came from Holly Cox, who only celebrated her 15th birthday in May and continues to establish herself as one of South Africa's most exciting young riders.

Competing in her first-ever Under 25 (U25) competition, Holly was riding against athletes up to ten years older with far more experience at the level. Despite this, she produced a performance beyond her years.

Not only did Holly jump her first-ever 1.45m class, she won it. Stepping up to a new height is a significant achievement in itself, but to win on your debut is a move of champions!

Her results earned her a wildcard qualification for the Longines Global Champions Tour in Vienna this September, where she will compete against the very best Under 25 riders in the world.

Holly's success wasn't limited to the U25 division. Riding her long-time partner Jinocentia Eickenrode ("Jinny"), she also secured an impressive second-place finish, adding yet another podium result to an already extraordinary tour.

Sophie Charlotte Cox Continues Her Rise

Holly's 15-year-old twin sister, Sophie Charlotte Cox, also enjoyed a hugely successful tour, reaching several important milestones of her own.

Sophie jumped a beautiful, confident round in her first-ever 1.40m class aboard Virunga H Z, showing maturity and composure as she stepped up to a new level of international competition.

She also claimed victory in the CSI 1 Small Tour Final* with her exciting 10-year-old speed horse EUBERTHA Z, producing a fantastic performance to finish on the top step of the podium.

Alongside these headline achievements, Sophie collected a number of other top placings throughout the two weeks, highlighting the consistency she has developed and the exciting future that lies ahead.

Watching both Holly and Sophie continue to progress at such a young age has been incredibly rewarding. Their success reflects not only their natural ability but also their dedication, professionalism, and willingness to put in the hard work every single day.

Kaitlin Vosseller Steps Up with a New Partnership

Kaitlin Vosseller also enjoyed an excellent tour, travelling to Šamorín with her exciting new horse Niebla del Ara, alongside her long-time partners Zeretino Blue and Laveena.

Over the course of the two weeks, Kaitlin successfully stepped up to the 1.30m level with Niebla, marking an important milestone in what is already proving to be a very promising partnership. Building confidence and experience with a new horse takes patience, consistency, and trust, and the pair showed exactly that throughout the tour.

Another highlight came with Laveena, where Kaitlin produced an outstanding performance to finish 3rd in the CSI 1 Small Tour Final*, adding an international podium finish to an already successful fortnight.

Watching Kaitlin continue to develop each of her horses while confidently progressing to a higher level was another highlight of the tour for the IN Showjumpers team.

Harper Sharkey & Stella Flight

No stranger to the podium, 13 year old Harper Sharkey (IRL) and her 9 year-old mare Stella Flight had an excellent and characteristicslly speedy tour, finishing second in the Saturday Amateur Tour before moving up to a technical 1.20 final week two. This pair has been in flying form after their victory in Hickstead, and we're excited to see how far (and how fast) they go this summer.
